4th Annual Lake to Lake Harvest Bike Tour - September 14, 2019

Join us for a scenic ride through parks, small towns and rural Medina County!

On Sept. 14, 2019 bicyclists will set out on Medina County’s scenic back roads and park trails for the fourth-annual Lake to Lake Harvest Bike Tour.

The ride is presented by Bike Medina County in conjunction with the Medina County Bicycle Transportation Task Force. Its goal is to promote bicycle safety in the community through education, improved signage, new trails and special events. All proceeds from the Lake to Lake Harvest Bike Tour go right back into promoting safe cycling in Medina County.

The event offers a family / casual ride entirely on park trails -- ride whatever distance suits you! There's a 15-mile route with turnaround options that combines park trails and Chippewa Lake village streets. Experienced cyclists can choose from routes of approximately 32 or 50 miles that encompass rolling hills, small towns, lake views, points of interest, and the beautiful autumn countryside. All rides begin and end at Buckeye Woods Park, 6335 Wedgewood Lane in Medina.

The Lake to Lake Harvest Bike Tour includes: marked routes, maps, SAG support, water stops, snack stops on the longer routes, and lunch upon completion of the ride. Riders who pre-register receive a free T-shirt.

Registration forms are available at Century Cycles, 1059 North Court Street in Medina, and at Medina County Park District Headquarters, 9364 Deerview Lane in Lafayette Township. Online registration, as well as printable registration forms, are available here.

Registration also is available on the day of the event. Registration for the 32- and 50-mile rides is from 7:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. Registration for the casual / family ride and the 15-mile ride is from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. The course closes at 2 p.m.

Children 10 and under ride free. Helmets are required for all riders, and red blinking taillights are required on the 32- and 50-mile routes.
