There are a lot of crashes on Fulton Road in Cleveland. In fact, from 2015-2017 there were over 130 crashes. It’s time to provide final feedback on the first phase of the reconstruction of Fulton Road. This phase will reconstruct Fulton Road from Clark Avenue north to Lorain Avenue, and work is due to start as soon as February. This meeting is hosted by the City of Cleveland, Ward 3 Councilman Kerry McCormack, Ward 14 Councilwoman Jasmin Santana, Metro West Community Development Organization, and Ohio City Incorporated.
When: Wednesday, January 23, 2019, 5:30-7:30pm

As it is today, Carnegie Avenue in Cleveland is a dangerous street. From 2015-2017, there were 737 crashes on Carnegie Avenue from E. 30th-E. 105th – 20 of which involved pedestrians or cyclists. This is unacceptable and now is our chance to plan a Carnegie Avenue that is safe for all users.
Midtown Cleveland, with support from NOACA and other partners are working on a plan to re-envision the future of Carnegie Avenue. Part of the vision is to improve conditions for cyclists and pedestrians, and increase the connectivity and safety for all users.
There is an Open House you can attend and share your experiences as a cyclist or pedestrian, and express your desires for a safe Carnegie Avenue.
When: Thursday, January 24, 2019, 5:00–7:00pm
Where: PNC Fairfax Connection (8220 Carnegie Avenue).

Giro Fixture MIPS rated "most comfortable" mountain bike helmet - IN STOCK!
PinkBike recently rated their favorite 8 mountain bike helmets under $100. Coming in at the top of the list is the Giro Fixture MIPS. At only $54.99, it's not only the least expensive, it was also rated the "most comfortable." Tester Aidan Oliver said:
"I found this helmet was the most comfortable despite its being a universal fit. It is the only universal helmet in the roundup, and it fit the largest and the smallest heads in the office, which is quite impressive!"
The Multi-Directional Impact Protection System (MIPS) system is an advance helmet feature that can redirect energy and provide more protection in certain impacts.
We've got the Giro Fixture MIPS helmet in stock at the Century Cycles store in Medina in three different colors! Plus, you can take 20% OFF the regular price with our Winter Sale through February 28, 2019! That brings it down to just $43.99 + sales tax! Stop in, or buy it online - discount will be shown in your shopping cart!
Our Medina store not the most convenient for you? Give us a call, and we'll send one to our Peninsula or Rocky River store for you to check out. No extra cost or obligation!

Video: "The Pursuit of Fattiness"
Fat Pursuit: "The Pursuit of Fattiness" from wandr on Vimeo.
Winter endurance races are not for the faint-hearted or weak-willed. This film profiles one man's fat bike journey while training for Jay Petervary's "Fat Pursuit," a 200km/200-mile winter bicycle race in the Greater Yellowstone region. Follow along with Jim Vreeland's journey, from the train tracks of New Jersey, to Idaho's cold, snowy backcountry, and maybe all the way to the finish line.
