The Case for Working With Your Hands

Back in the spring, the New York Times published an excerpt from a book called "Shop Class as Soulcraft: An Inquiry Into the Value of Work." The author, Matthew B. Crawford, gave up an office job to work as a motorcycle mechanic, and talks about the culture of that environment, and the joys and sorrows therein.
