If you've been following this blog since August, you're know that Ray (from our Rocky River store) and I left back then on a long-distance bike tour. I flew home from Guatemala City on Oct. 17, and as of today, I am back to work at CC. Ray flew home from Costa Rica on Nov. 3.
I'd like to thank all of you who sent us your words of encouragement, as well as your donations to support The Melanoma Research Foundation, during the course of our journey. Together, we raised over $10,000 for this worthy cause.
A special thanks to our corporate sponsors, including Raleigh, Diamondback, Sherwin-Williams, Tri-Flow Lubricants, Spot Satellite Messenger, WTB, Tifosi Optics, Bell Helmets, Walk+Roll, T-Mobile, and of course, Century Cycles.
Here's a photo from one of our last days on the trip, visiting with some of the Sherwin-Williams folks at one of their paint stores in the city of Chimaltenango, Guatemala. You can see many more photos, as well as read stories of our antics from our daily trip blog at www.miles4melanoma.com. And look for my regular posts to continue on this blog!
