Fixies and other news out of NYC

Akron Urban Assault

Every once in a while, a couple of us from the shop head to downtown Akron with our mountain bikes for an evening of "urban assault" riding. We may not have the skills (or the cajones) for stunts like you might see in a typical extreme mountain biking video, but it's a fun time. The city police usually just look at us in amusement, and most everyone else thinks that we are the police.

Some of our favorite spots are the U. of Akron campus, E.J. Thomas Hall, the Akron Public Library, and the courthouse complex. I've uploaded some videos to Google Video showcasing some of these and other spots:
